Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

These Terms govern your use of UseLocalGuide (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

2. The Service

The Service provides tools to help you manage Google Business Profile (“GBP”) activity, including AI-assisted drafts for review replies, optional scheduling/automation, approvals, logs, and analytics. We do not guarantee rankings, visibility, lead volume, or outcomes.

3. Authority & Compliance

You represent that you have rights and authority to connect and manage any GBP or third-party account used with the Service. You agree to comply with applicable law and third-party terms and policies (including Google’s policies).

4. Google OAuth Authorization

If you connect Google, you authorize UseLocalGuide to access and manage GBP data for locations you are permitted to manage via OAuth. You can disconnect Google inside your dashboard and may also revoke access from your Google Account Security settings. UseLocalGuide is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google.

5. Google API Data Usage (Limited Use)

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements. We use Google user data only to provide and improve user-facing features that you request and do not use it for advertising or sell it to third parties.

6. AI Disclaimer (Important)

AI output may be inaccurate or inappropriate. You are solely responsible for all content published through your account, including content published via automation. You should configure approvals and review drafts before publishing when appropriate.

7. Billing

Paid plans are billed in advance and recur unless canceled. Unless required by law, fees are non-refundable. See Refund Policy.

8. Security & Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. You agree not to misuse the Service, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with system integrity. See Security Overview for additional details.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations, abuse, or risk. Upon termination, access ends immediately. You may stop using the Service at any time. Account deletion requests can be made by contacting support@uselocalguide.com.

10. Intellectual Property

We own the Service and all related intellectual property. You retain ownership of your content and business data. You grant us a limited license to process your data solely to provide and maintain the Service.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify us for claims arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of law or third-party policies.

12. Disclaimers & Liability Limit

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO A CLAIM.
